“ What better way to spend part of your day then to volunteer filling meal packs and then packing them in cartons for Children around the world in desperate need of proper nutritionally balanced meals. The process is pretty easy and lots of fun as you kind of compete against the other team/tables to fill as my boxes as you can during your session, which last from 1.5 to 2 hours. The team procedure starts with the scoopers who scoop up the incredients and pour them into a funnel where a bagger holds a package to catch the incredients then weights each package for the proper weight and adds and subtracts accordingly then pass the package to sealer who heat seals the bag while insuring all the air is out of the bag, who in turn pass the bag to the packer who stacks the bags until the case amount is acheived then packs the carton to the proper capacity. There are also volunteers who sit and place nutritional content labels on the packages and the warehouse workers who are the hardest workers there as they deliver incredients as they become depleted, run the full carton to the warehouse, and pack the pallets with the cartons for delivery. When your done you leave feeling very happy knowing yhe little bit you had just done goes a long way to helping Children around the globe to live a better life. ”
